FORMULA 1 ROLEX BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2022 - QUALIFYING
Verstappen, Ocon, Norris, Leclerc, Zhou and Schumacher required to start from the back.
Max Verstappen put in a stunning performance in Belgian Grand Prix qualifying - but Ferraris Carlos Sainz will start the race from pole.
Verstappen was quickest in all three qualifying sessions, but a grid penalty for using a new gearbox means he will start the race from 14th place.
That leaves Sainz on pole, ahead of team-mate Charles Leclerc and Red Bull's Sergio Perez.
A crash in Q1 for Esteban Ocon ruled him out of qualifying, so it goes down as no time and he will start 15th.
Lando Norris, Zhou Guanyu and Mick Schumacher all required new engines. So joined Ocon at the back of the grid, with Norris in 16th then Zhou 17th and Schumacher 18th.
