An update to a product from infosec vendor CrowdStrike is bricking computers running Windows. The Register has found numerous accounts of Windows 10 machines being hit by a critical issue triggered by the recent update to CrowdStrike's Falcon Sensor for Windows, which is causing a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) boot loop on affected systems.

Windows computers around the world are being hit by the dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) thanks to an outage caused by services provided by cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike.

After cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike shipped an update to its Falcon Sensor software that protects mission-critical systems, Blue Screens of Death started appearing.
